For those of you who have been following our hero's exploits, here is the latest installment. Bill Goldman is one of my favorite magicians. His wacky approach to magical effects is always refreshing. Bill did this for me and without asking any questions, he was able to tell me what I was thinking. The effect on me was staggering. I had no clue. It left me laughing and bewildered. I do it all the time these days for my clients and it gets a great reaction. I have the script on my computer so that I can access it immediately and I can perform it whenever I talk to clients. This may be a small package but it packs a lot of wallop in audience reaction.

Monkey in the Middle

I was stunned when I first saw this. Now I stun the bar crowds everytime I do it. The instant sandwich is so visual that it rocks them back on their heels. Here's what happens. A card is selected, signed, and put back into the deck. The spectator puts two cards from another deck with contrasting backs on top of the deck and INSTANTLY the signed card appears between them. Like all of Goldman's stuff, easy to do but the effect is very strong on the audience. This is a great one to do if there is another magician in the crowd. The sound of his jaw dropping is especially rewarding.

This trick always amazes even the most experienced magicians. A deck of cards sits on the table. A spectator takes the deck, removes a card, looks at it, replaces the card in the deck and puts the cards back into the case. It is all so
fair because the magician hasn't even touched the deck.
With a wave of your hand, the selected card vanishes from the deck and appears in your wallet in a sealed envelope or anywhere you like!

There is no palming or sleight of hand required. The instructions are written so that you experience the effect as the audience does the first time you read and perform them. You will be fooled the first time you try it! Michael Weber says "Devastatingly simple and direct. This looks even better than it sounds!" And, he's right.
