**After
all these years** |
Many of my
fans have asked when will there be a new Doc Eason tape... well, here it
is... and it is a DVD!
It is called"...after all these years."
This is footage shot at the Tower this last spring... it is live .... with a
very lively audience... and it contains material never before seen ... the
new stuff! This is material that I have been working on SINCE the L&L
videos.
It starts with an interesting history of the Tower, how it all came about in
1975 and my involvement. It moves quickly into my color changing knife
routine, that I open almost every show with ... a card transposition that
has become a cornerstone of my act...a weird sort of puzzle trick that I
have been killing with!... my "bar bet" routine that has become a feature
part of my act ( thanks to Bob Read) and an obscure (but killer) torn and
restored card routine that has been frying my audiences for a few years now.
I have included a second closing on the last two effects... to show the same
trick's ending with a different audience. I close the whole thing with a
card on Ceiling montage to show the updated ending. As always, the whole
thing is liberally seasoned with bits and jokes.
Okay...so don't take my word for it..

Doc Eason's Rocky Mountain Magic Video
Shot in 1990 $25.00
Filmed in 1990, this was
Doc's debut tape. A lively and spirited show captured live at the
Tower with real people in the audience. This tape is treasured by bar
and restaurant workers not only for the magic, but more importantly
because it shows the effective way to deal with customers, keep the
flow of drinks going and perform a show all at the same time! To be
honest, most people buy it for the lines! If you work for people in
the real world, you need this tape in your library.

5 Minutes with a Pocket Handkerchief
a brilliant routine
$20.00
Speaking about
gems...5 Minutes with a Pocket Handkerchief just blew me away. I am always a fan
of a full blown routine that takes up very little pocket space. Quentin Reynolds
is a kids performer Ireland. Now wait...this doesn't mean that the routine here
is just for kids...no way. I use it as an interesting interlude at the bar and
YES it plays great! The opening sequence on the tape shows Quentin performing
this routine for a bunch of kids and he is driving them CRAZY...they are
screaming! All this with a pocket hanky?! Yes...This is a routine that is really
adaptable to many different performing venues and the best part??? it is easy to
do. You pull out the handkerchief and stretch it to twice its size then it jumps
out of your hand repeatedly...then, no matter how hard you try you can't tie a
knot in it...then you fold it into the mouse...yeah the mouse...the one in
Gardner's encyclopedia of impromptu stuff...but have you ever actually taken the
time to learn the fold and then use it???no I hadn't either but here is a pro
who shows you how and then tips every subtlety and includes it with all of the
jokes, gags, by play, tidbits that are only garnered after thousands of
performances...I consider this a best buy at only $20. |

A visit with Heba Haba Al
Rare footage of one of the classic magic bartenders
$25.00
There are only a few of these left...
When the subject of magic bar
comes up, one of the first names that pops up is Heba Haba Al Andrucci. Al had
a profound influence on every magic bartender who has come down the pike. Bob
Sheets worked with Heba for several years before starting the Magic Bar at the
Tower. This is a rare opportunity to see one of the best. Randy Wakeman shot
this footage several years before Heba died. What impressed me the most is the
simplicity of the method and the strength of the effect. The only criticism of
this is that it is too short. There is little over 20 minutes of the master
but what an education is bestowed in 20 minutes. I recently visited with a
magic bartender in Tampa and he considers this to be one of the best tapes he
has ever seen. Watching Heba work and studying his performance is a real
education.

Bill Malone On the Loose
These are Great!
$35.00
I am personally excited about these
tapes. I have been a fan of Bill Malone for years and when these came out I sent
him the same note that everyone sent me... "Why give away all the good stuff?"
There is truly a whole new act in these tapes for the person who can adapt the
lessons into their own style... and hopefully not become a MaloneClone. There is
so much good material on here that it is hard to say which is my favorite. So I
will just list what is here and let you take it from there. Suffice to say that
these come with my highest recommendation. For the last 25 years Bill Malone has
made his living performing magic, along the way making numerous appearances on
national television (including NBCs Worlds Greatest Magic and Lifestyles of the
Rich & Famous) in addition to performing for high profile clients that, if
listed, would read like a Whos Who of corporate America. In the On The Loose
series, you'll finally have the chance to learn how Bill has become one of the
most entertaining and successful magicians of our time and you'll learn lots of
powerful, commercial magic at the same time. Besides tricks, you'll be privy to
inside information from a guy who really knows the business side of magic, tips
that will help to bring your own performances to life and make your business as
an entertainer more successful. With Bill Malone, its all about presentation,
